The Mabank church of Christ youth efforts have at their heart three main goals:
- 1) Support the growth of each young person’s spiritual foundation through challenging education,
- 2) involve them in the work of the Kingdom to grow their experiences and
- 3) provide fellowship opportunities so they can be edified and uplifted around young people of like-minded faith.
These goals are enacted through multiple channels. Through summer youth series, Bible camps, weekly Bible classes, Family Bible School and monthly devotionals, the youth are provided opportunities to study God’s word and how the Father desires that we apply it to our lives.
From our young Christian boys’ opportunities to participate in the worship services, to activities such as all our youth filling gift baskets for our widows, having a shoe drive for the work in the Philippines, creating holiday cards for our shut-ins and widows and even mission trips – both foreign and domestic, we are able to provide our young people broad experiences of what it means to be a worker in the Lord’s vineyard.
Under the oversight of our elders, we also provide fellowship opportunities not only with the youth of our congregation, but in support of youth from other faithful congregations in the area as well.
We do all our work in support of the home’s work to raise Godly children.
